We’re working with a fast-growing, social-first consumer business that has built a huge audience through organic content and is now looking for a Marketing Associate to join its Owned Marketing team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career who is genuinely immersed in social, understands what makes content travel and wants much more ownership than you would typically get in a junior marketing role.
You’ll join a small, high-performing team responsible for creating, testing and distributing content across the brand’s own channels. The focus is not simply on making content. It’s about understanding what works, testing ideas quickly and using performance data to help shape bigger marketing and commercial decisions.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning the pre-launch content testing process for new product releases, developing and filming different creative angles to understand what resonates before wider marketing investment is committed.
- Distributing content across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook and analysing performance against agreed benchmarks.
- Using those results to make clear recommendations on which content and products should be scaled, developed or deprioritised.
- Managing the content production process from end to end, including briefs, casting, filming and directing in-house video editors.
- Scheduling and publishing content across social channels.
- Working closely with the wider marketing team on content planning and production.
- Supporting ongoing content creation around key products, launches and retail partnerships.
This could suit a recent graduate with strong academics and evidence of a real interest in social, content and consumer behaviour, or someone in the first year or two of their career looking for significantly more responsibility.
You don’t need to arrive with years of formal marketing experience. We’re much more interested in someone who can demonstrate curiosity, initiative and good judgement.
That might come through:
- internships or early marketing/social experience
- creating or growing your own social channels
- running content for a university society, brand or side project
- a side hustle or entrepreneurial project
- hands-on experience creating TikTok, Instagram or YouTube content
- a strong instinct for what works on social and an interest in why
- evidence that you can take an idea and make it happen
Why consider it?
This is a genuinely hands-on role within a business experiencing rapid growth. You’ll have the chance to test ideas, see the commercial impact of your work and learn quickly alongside an entrepreneurial marketing team.
There is significant autonomy, creative freedom and scope to progress as the business continues to grow.
Benefits
- £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
- Hybrid working, with four days per week in a central London office and one day from home
- Pension scheme
- Regular team lunches, breakfasts and socials
- Fully stocked office kitchen
- Product allowance
