Turning AI Curiosity into Practical Creative Workflows
How The Industry School helped GAMA Healthcare’s creative team explore practical AI workflows for image generation, editing, ideation, and motion.
Practical AI training for a fast-moving in-house creative team.
GAMA Healthcare approached The Industry School with a clear ambition: to help its creative and digital design team better understand the rapidly evolving world of AI, cut through the noise surrounding new tools, and explore where creative AI could add genuine value to their workflow.
Working within a highly regulated healthcare environment, the challenge wasn’t simply about experimenting with AI for the sake of innovation. The training needed to balance creative opportunity with practical application, brand consistency, realism, and risk awareness.
The goal was to equip the team with the confidence, frameworks, and hands-on experience needed to begin integrating AI into real-world creative processes in a thoughtful and commercially useful way.
The CHALLENGE
Like many in-house creative teams, GAMA Healthcare’s designers were already surrounded by growing conversation and speculation around AI tools, image generation, video, and automation.
The challenge was not access to technology — it was understanding which tools were genuinely useful, where they added value, and how they could realistically fit into an existing workflow without compromising quality, consistency, or trust.

The team also needed clarity around:
- Which AI tools were worth investing time in.
- How to generate better creative outputs through stronger prompting.
- How AI could support ideation, image editing, and smaller-scale motion work.
- The risks and considerations of using AI within healthcare communications.
- How to explore AI practically, rather than theoretically.
Crucially, the training needed to feel grounded in the team’s day-to-day reality — not generic AI hype.
THE APPROACH
The Industry School designed and delivered a bespoke, hands-on AI workshop tailored specifically to the needs of GAMA Healthcare’s creative team.
Rather than focusing purely on trend-led AI demonstrations, the workshop was structured around practical creative workflows and real-world use cases relevant to an in-house design environment.
The session covered:
- The current AI landscape and where creative AI adds genuine value.
- AI-assisted ideation and creative direction.
- Prompt-writing techniques to improve output quality and consistency.
- Brand systems and maintaining visual alignment across AI-generated assets.
- AI-assisted post-production workflows inside Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Generative AI for still imagery, animation, and motion.
- Upscaling, finishing, and preparing AI outputs for production-ready use.
The workshop also introduced the team to a curated range of tools, including ChatGPT, NanoBanana, Kling, Veo 3, Runway, SeaDream, Freepik, and Adobe’s AI-assisted workflows.
Importantly, the training combined discussion with live experimentation, allowing the team to test tools directly within the session and build confidence through guided exploration.
The OUTCOME
The impact of the training extended well beyond the workshop itself.
In the months following the session, GAMA Healthcare’s team continued actively discussing and applying many of the techniques explored during the training.
One of the strongest areas of adoption has been AI-assisted image generation and editing. Team members have been using Nano Banana to create accurate product imagery, generate lifestyle settings, make image amends, and produce short animations, helping reduce reliance on time-consuming photoshoots and manual retouching.
The prompting frameworks introduced during the workshop also had an immediate impact, helping the team generate more detailed, effective prompts and improving the quality and consistency of outputs.
The training additionally helped normalise AI experimentation within the team, creating a shared language and greater confidence around where AI could support – rather than replace – existing creative workflows.
THE RESULTS
Faster Creative Exploration
The team has been able to generate visuals and explore creative ideas more quickly without always needing to commission new photography or extensive Photoshop work.
Greater Confidence with AI Tools
By testing tools live during the workshop, the team left with greater clarity around which platforms were genuinely useful and how to apply them practically.
Improved Prompting & Output Quality
The ChatGPT prompting guidance delivered during the session has helped the team create more detailed and effective prompts, leading to stronger creative outputs.
Continued Internal Momentum
Three months after the workshop, the team reported that they were still regularly discussing the training and continuing to apply learnings from the session.
OUR ROLE
The Industry School worked closely with GAMA Healthcare to design a workshop that balanced inspiration with practicality.
Rather than delivering generic AI evangelism, the focus was on helping a creative team understand how AI could fit safely and effectively into real-world workflows — particularly within the context of healthcare communications, regulated content, and brand consistency.
By combining strategic context, practical demonstrations, and guided experimentation, the training helped the team move beyond uncertainty and begin building confidence with creative AI in a commercially useful way.
THE RESPONSE
“The team and I thoroughly enjoyed the training. Jess was engaging and on the pulse with AI and the latest tools and advancements. She helped to cut through the noise so that we are aware of which tools are best to use and explore.
We appreciated being able to try them in the workshop with Jess’ guidance, so that we all feel more confident using them, which was my primary goal for the team.
It has sparked a lot of discussion around how we are going to use it going forward and fit it into our workflow.”
