Project Management Lead (Fixed-Term Contract)
   
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Project Management Lead with client facing experience (the role would be considered quite hybrid in a creative agency)  to join an award-winning in-house agency on a fixed-term contract from July to December 2026 (salary pro-rata’d accordingly).
  
Please note this role requires in office working 4 days a week
  
Based in their Central London office, which features an in-house production studio and rooftop bar, you will work closely with both global and local marketing teams to deliver exceptional creative work across multiple brands and markets.
  
This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role that combines agency-style project leadership with stakeholder management. We are looking for someone with strong creative agency experience who is comfortable operating within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
  
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will lead and support a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects while serving as the primary escalation point for issue resolution. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter who can manage multiple workstreams, build strong stakeholder relationships, and confidently advocate for creative ideas.
  
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout project delivery, acting as the first point of escalation for issues and challenges.
  • Encourage high performance through effective mentoring, feedback and development opportunities.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key senior stakeholders, including European and Global Marketing Directors.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for marketing leadership teams.
  • Collaborate closely with internal brand teams, external agencies and strategic partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Operational Excellence
  • Work seamlessly with Operations, Traffic, Finance and departmental leaders to ensure efficient and effective project delivery processes.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify gaps and drive improvements to achieve team and business objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate ways of working, implementing process improvements and best practices across the wider agency.
Strategic Planning & Resource Management
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop annual brand plans and oversee delivery of the agency's scope of work.
  • Translate strategic plans into effective workload forecasting and resource planning in collaboration with Finance and Traffic teams.
  • Ensure project priorities, timelines and resource requirements are managed effectively across multiple brands and markets.
Financial Management
  • Oversee project and brand budgets, including retainers, forecasting and financial reconciliations.
  • Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate budget tracking and reporting.
  • Proactively identify and communicate budget risks, overspend or financial issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Project Delivery
  • Lead high-profile, complex campaigns and projects when required.
  • Drive excellence across the full project lifecycle, ensuring quality, efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Proven experience leading, developing and coaching high-performing project management teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage individuals across different functions, geographies and seniority levels.
  • Confidence in constructively challenging stakeholders and managing expectations while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering against commitments and deadlines.
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • A genuine passion for creativity, with the confidence to contribute to strategic and creative discussions and reviews.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, using data and insights to drive decision-making and operational enhancements.
