Summary:


We’re working with a growing independent digital agency to find a Director of Performance to join its senior leadership team.

The agency specialises in paid social acquisition for charities, delivering digital fundraising programmes that drive measurable growth. 

This is a leadership role, with the need for someone who can take ownership of the strategic direction of client programmes while leading and developing the performance team.

You'll oversee a portfolio of paid social programmes, bringing together creative, analysis and digital delivery to maximise fundraising performance. While you'll need a strong understanding of paid social platforms and performance marketing you'll be setting the direction, coaching the team and ensuring campaigns deliver against ambitious client goals.

What you'll be doing
  • Owning the strategic direction of paid social fundraising programmes across multiple markets
  • Taking overall responsibility for campaign performance, client targets and ROI
  • Overseeing programmes with large media budgets 
  • Using performance data and insight to identify opportunities for optimisation and growth
  • Leading and developing a team of Digital Campaign Managers and Executives
  • Working closely with the Heads of dept to deliver integrated programmes
  • Presenting strategy and performance recommendations to senior clients
  • Driving innovation, testing and continuous improvement across client programmes
  • Playing a key role within the agency's senior leadership team as the business continues to scale
What they're looking for
  • Strong agency experience within social, digital or performance marketing
  • Experience leading teams and overseeing multiple client programmes and significant media budgets
  • A strategic leader who understands paid social and digital acquisition,
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence presenting to senior clients
  • Comfortable leading through others while retaining sight of campaign performance and detail
  • Low ego, collaborative and values-led, with an interest in using digital marketing to create meaningful impact
  • Charity or fundraising experience would be beneficial but a keen interest in the sector is key
Location: Predominantly remote, with occasional travel to Ireland.
