Summary:

We’re working with a growing independent digital agency to find a Director of Performance to join its senior leadership team.

The agency specialises in digital and social-led campaigns designed to drive action and measurable results for charity clients. Their work brings together paid social, creative, data and digital technology, delivering high-volume campaigns for purpose-led organisations across the UK and international markets.

This is a broad leadership role for someone who understands what makes digital campaigns perform and can bring together the people, thinking and disciplines needed to continually improve results.

You’ll need a strong understanding of paid social and digital acquisition, experience overseeing significant campaign budgets, and the ability to use data and insight to shape strategy.

You’ll have strategic oversight of a portfolio of client programmes, leading a multidisciplinary team across creative, digital and analytics while working closely with senior clients.

What you’ll be doing
  • Setting the strategic direction for a portfolio of social and digital programmes
  • Taking overall responsibility for campaign performance, client targets and KPIs
  • Overseeing multiple concurrent campaigns and significant media budgets
  • Using performance data and insight to identify opportunities for optimisation and growth
  • Bringing together creative, digital and analytical teams to continually improve results
  • Leading senior client conversations around performance, strategy and future opportunities
  • Driving new ideas and approaches, with a strong culture of testing and learning
  • Leading and developing a multidisciplinary team
  • Playing an active role within the agency’s senior leadership team
What we’re looking for
  • Strong experience within a social or digital agency environment
  • Experience overseeing a high volume of campaigns and sizeable media budgets
  • A solid understanding of paid social, digital acquisition and performance marketing
  • Strong senior client and commercial experience
  • Direct line management experience and confidence leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable getting into the detail while retaining sight of the bigger picture
  • Curious, collaborative and down to earth, with a genuine interest in what drives better campaign performance
You might currently be a Business Director, Group Account Director, Client Partner or similar and looking for an opportunity to take on a broader leadership remit.

Experience within fundraising or the charity sector would be useful but is by no means essential, an interest in the sector is!

Location: Predominantly remote, with occasional travel to Dublin
