'Non traditional' London agency is looking for an Account Director or Senior Account Director to join a growing, tight-knit client leadership team.
You will lead a portfolio of 3 to 4 clients across areas such as drinks, luxury, sport, financial services, tech, retail and not for profit. Accounts are allocated based on fit and strengths rather than rigid team structures. A lot of the work is international, so global experience working across markets is important.
This is a lean, highly collaborative agency of around 100 people. The culture is built around curiosity, ambition, entrepreneurship and strong creative partnership. There are no silos here -everyone is expected to lean in and ideas come from everywhere.
The role:
You will be the senior day to day lead on your accounts, trusted by clients and by the agency to own the work, the relationships and the commercial health of the business.
You will lead and develop your account team, partner closely with creative, strategy and production, and be accountable for delivery from brief through to final output.
What you will be doing
Leading a portfolio of accounts and owning the overall quality of the work
Building strong, trusted relationships with senior clients
Shaping the narrative in client meetings and presentations
Overseeing integrated production, budgets and account finances
Setting clear roles, direction and standards for your team
Providing strategic input and helping ensure creative consistency
Working across multiple markets and stakeholders globally
Spotting opportunities to grow and deepen existing client relationships
Knowing when to follow process and when to innovate
Who this suits
You are a confident, hands on Account Director or Senior Account Director who can handle complexity, multiple workstreams and senior client relationships without dropping the ball.
You bring strong global experience, good commercial instincts and a genuine interest in the work and the clients. You are curious, open minded and comfortable operating in a non-traditional agency environment where people collaborate across disciplines and no one stays in their lane.
