Media Lead – Leuven, Belgium

An opportunity to join one of the world’s biggest consumer brands at their European HQ in Leuven, Belgium, as Media Lead
. This senior strategy role sits within the regional marketing function and plays a key part in how their brands show up across Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
You’ll lead a small team of Media Managers and oversee agency relationships across the region – developing fully integrated media strategies that span traditional and digital channels, working closely with brand, insights, sales, and global teams. Your remit includes annual and 3-year planning, test & learn implementation, performance tracking, and budget control.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role with regular exposure to senior stakeholders across markets and global teams. You’ll need to bring strategic leadership, deep media understanding, and a strong grasp of the local consumer and media landscape.
What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in media planning & strategy (digital + traditional)
- Strong cross-market knowledge (Belgium, Netherlands, France)
- Fluent English; French or Dutch a plus
- Experience leading media teams or agency partners
- Strategic, analytical, and confident managing media budgets
- Able to influence senior stakeholders across marketing, sales, and brand
This role would suit a Client Lead (if you are very strategic) or a Senior media strategist or Connections lead from an agency or in-house background, who’s looking to step into a regional role with broad ownership and strong progression potential.
